What has been, and what can be, achieved

In the 13 years of business I have completed a wide cross section of commisions and projects. These have ranged  from entrance drive gates, oak timber framing, windows and doors, bookcases and wardrobes through to oak and rosewood tables.

During this time I have worked on the renovation and maintenance of a Grade 2 'listed' property.

A particular speciality has been the design, construction and installation of 'built in' cupboards, bookcases and wardrobes which maximises available space in corners and alcoves which are found in many properties.

The timbers which I  normally use vary from English/European/American hardwoods through to kiln dried joinery softwood and medium density fibre board (MDF). The use of Amerian poplar wood (for framing) and MDF (for panels and shelves) is an extensively used combination which is excellent for a painted finish.

I can also change doors, skirting board and architraves as well as lay solid or laminate flooring for clients wishing to change the interior decor of their property.

A design service is also offered. My wife, Maureen, is a freelance interior designer and has previously worked for a world renowned furniture company. We can visit prospective clients, discuss and  interpret their intentions and prepare drawings with a written quotation. There is no charge for this service.
